From installation to a checked result

  1. Start a small scan

    Install from the Shopify App Store, open the app in Shopify Admin and run a Free scan. This checks your homepage and up to three product pages without changing the theme.

  2. Read coverage before interpreting the results

    Wait for completion and check scanned, skipped and failed pages. No completed scan is not the same as zero issues. Password-protected or inaccessible pages may not be checked.

  3. Review one finding at a time

    Open Issues and read the affected page, severity, evidence and plain-language fix hint. For example, a missing image alternative needs useful text based on the image's purpose, not a keyword list.

  4. Make a deliberate correction and rescan

    Edit the relevant content or theme in Shopify, or share the finding with your theme developer. Run another scan and compare findings. A disappearing automated finding does not certify accessibility.

Common questions

Do I need Pro to compare two scans?

No. Free and Pro both compare completed scans when the fully evaluated pages, scan limits and check version match. Changed or incomplete coverage is not proof that issues were fixed. Pro adds broader page coverage, CSV export, longer history and monthly rescans.

Does the app automatically fix my theme?

No. It reads server-rendered HTML and supplies findings and fix hints. You choose and make changes outside the app.

Does a scan prove WCAG compliance?

No. It covers selected checks mapped to WCAG 2.1 AA, not a complete audit. JavaScript-rendered interactions and color contrast are not covered; manual review remains necessary.

Where should I install or manage my plan?

Use the official Shopify App Store listing to install. Open the app from Shopify Admin after installation. Any paid-plan approval happens in Shopify, never through a payment form on this page.
